The Displacement Gate is effectively a short range Teleport Matrix. Unlike the Teleport Matrix, the Displacement Gate works in pairs and is useless if there is only one. When two Gates are present in a camp, it opens up a worm hole which the owner and all his allies can instantly pass through. The Gate only works within a given camp (you cannot use it to travel to other camps) and will not respond to enemies.
